New printing media - interactive PDFs

This screenshot is taken from a “new generation” pdf. It’s actually a mixture of flash, video in a pdf like book.

The idea is to have interactive pdf’s in online publishing. Paper + video

While this sort of new “publishing” could work in offline environments, my personal opinion is that it’s completely useless.

Escher, my all time favorite graphic artist, has done in the fifties amazing work with no Photoshop. It must have looked like his graphics came from the future. Maybe a psychic of that time told him “your work looks like it’s done with the help of Adobe, the god of brushes” but nobody believed him
